Happy Chinese new year

Last Friday at Forest School we celebrated Chinese New Year. We whittle our own chopsticks, made a fire and tried Chinese noodles. We love it!

We thought we could make a fire by rubbing 2 sticks together.

We worked out that we need 22 chopsticks because we had 11 children and everyone needed 2.

We also tried Chinese prawn crackers

With sweet chilly sauce!

"Can I have seconds?"

We used the chopsticks we made to eat our noodles

" I need a table" May

We are sharing

Hannah and May decided to leave some suggestions for next time of things we could cook in the fire.

Can you read them?
