Baby owl nest

Our egg hatched on Thursday night  in the classroom. In Forest school we decided to make baby owl a nest because mummy owl didn't have time to make one herself.

 We used twigs, sticks, dried leaves and some straw to make a cosy nest.

We wrote a note to remind other birds not to use baby owl's nest.

We left some owl food for when he comes to stay in the Forest.

We had a picnic for snack time.
